Common questions

What is TRT?

Testosterone replacement therapy restores testosterone to a healthy range in men whose levels and symptoms indicate deficiency. Typical reasons men start include fatigue, low libido, poor recovery, brain fog, mood changes, and loss of lean mass.

How do I know if I need testosterone therapy?

It starts with labs. A TRT panel measures total and free testosterone along with safety markers such as hematocrit, PSA where appropriate, and estradiol. Your clinician reads those results together with your symptoms before prescribing anything.

Is TRT the same as steroid use?

No. TRT aims for physiologic levels under medical supervision, with regular lab monitoring. It is not a supraphysiologic performance cycle.

What about fertility?

Testosterone alone can suppress sperm production. Men who want to preserve fertility often use enclomiphene, or hCG alongside testosterone. Tell your clinician at intake if fertility matters to you.

Do you offer TRT in Oregon?

Yes. We see patients in Prineville and across Central Oregon, and we care for men by telehealth in all 50 states.
